Travel – How to get here

Travelling by Road:

Coming from Cork or Limerick:

Mallow is 35 km north of Cork city and 64 km south of Limerick city on the N20.

Coming from Dublin or Waterford:

Mallow is also intersected by the N72. The N73 joins the N72 just outside the town.

Cork Racecourse Mallow is just outside the town (under the stone bridge at the horse and rider roundabout).

Mallow town centre is left at this roundabout coming from the Limerick direction, right if coming from Cork and straight through this roundabout coming from Killarney.

Mallow railway station is served by trains from Cork, Dublin, Tralee and Killarney.

From Cork – The train station in Cork is located on lower Glanmire Rd. Trains from Cork to Mallow run regularly.

From Dublin – Heuston Station in Dublin runs a regular train service from Dublin to Cork via Mallow.

There is a free shuttle bus service to and from the train station to all race meetings. The shuttle bus times will be posted on www.corkracecourse.ie a week prior to the festival.

A bus service runs from Cork to Mallow every hour at 25 minutes past the hour, to access the time table click on the link below. For racing, there is a free shuttle bus service to and from the town park to all race meetings. The shuttle bus times will be posted on www.corkracecourse.ie a week prior to the festival.

By Air:

Cork Airport is 44 km from Mallow.

It takes 45 minutes to get to Mallow from Cork Airport.
