Top Festivals in 2021

The year 2020 has had many events cancelled or taking place without any audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, with the eased restrictions and hope that 2021 will be a different year for the entertainment industry, here are some of the biggest and top festivals scheduled for 2021.

Glastonbury Festival

The Glastonbury festival will celebrate its belated 50th anniversary in 2021 after this years event was cancelled due to the pandemic. With the event scheduled to take place between the 23rd and 27th of June 2021, some of the big music talents who were scheduled to grace the event during the 2020 festivals will surely be on the list. If the 2020 list is anything to go by, expect performances from Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar, among others.

Primavera Sound

The Primavera Sound festival is also hoping to celebrate its belated 20th anniversary in 2021 after this year’s festival was cancelled. Primavera Sound is a music festival hosted in Barcelona, Spain, between the beginning of May and the end of June and attracts top performances from renowned artists from around the world.

Medellin Flower Festival

Hosted in Colombia, this is a 13-day festival that aims to celebrate flower farmers from around the world and is arguably the most social event in the country and city of Medellin. The festival is not just about flowers but it’s also ideal for music and automobile lovers as well as cyclists.

Sapporo Ice Festival

Sapporo is the fifth-largest city in Japan, located in the northernmost part of the country. Attending the Sapporo Ice Festival is a perfect way to beat the winter between January and March, with the main attraction being the ice sculptures depicting historical scenes, myths and wildlife, turning the city into a winter wonderland.
